The list of the top 10 highest paid models just came out. I love the International spin on the names that made the list. Tell me what you think.
Here’s the list in alphabetical order:

ADRIANA Lima – Brazilian
ALESSANDRA Ambrosio – Brazilian
CAROLYN Murphy – American
DARIA Werbowy – Canadian
DOUTZEN Kroes – Dutch
GISELE Bündchen – Brazilian – #1
HEIDI Klum – German – #2
KATE Moss – English – #3
MIRANDA Kerr – Australian
NATALIA Vodianova – Russian

Many of these names are relatively unique here in the U.S. – not unheard of (except for Doutzen), but not common either. My guess is that having an interesting name helps models professionally. That’s because a unique name helps you stand out – and that’s what advertisers want. They don’t want just a pretty face – they want a supermodel, a household name.
